Water… Which is best?

Drinking water has never been so easy – pick your size, flavor, additives (oxygen, electrolytes), or even a message of love or gratitude on your bottle. The intention is great, but you can tape the same message on your recycled bottle and have the same effect, without the price tag!

Choices for drinking water include:

  • boiling for 5 minutes
  • store bought filter/bottled water/from a water machine
  • reverse osmosis
  • distilled
  • alkaline water filters
  • visit a natural spring
  • “treat” water with the sun, Himalayan salt, dowsing, etc…

Whichever type of water you choose, drink more! A client of mine lost 40 pounds drinking 1-½ gallons of water a day over a period of three months. This was the missing link in his daily routine. If you hit a plateau in your weight loss regime, try drinking more water. It suppresses your appetite and helps keep you full longer between meals.

The amount of water a person needs to drink depends on your source of information and your body weight. Generally, the more weight you carry, the more water you need. Some health experts say to drink one ounce of water per pound of body weight, while others say to drink half your weight in ounces. Dr. Mercola, states to drink one-quart for every 50 pounds of body weight. See what works best for you. Don’t focus on who’s right or wrong, just drink more! Give your body the moisture it so desperately needs.

Even your vehicle needs water to keep it going. Your plants, trees, grass, fruits, or vegetables will shrivel and die without water – so will your body and brain! Why allow yourself to look and feel old before your time?

A raisin, a prune, and leather are all dried out – YOU don’t have to be!

Lost For Losing Weight?

Don’t be fooled by “Fat Free” or any other attempt at a food label trying to look and sound healthy. Certain logos stamped across products can actually be purchased, whether true or not.  The cost of cheap and/or convenient food is your health.

Fat free products may not have “fat” in them, but quite often they still include sugar – sugar turns to fat in the blood, feeds infection, and parasites love it!

Getting more wrinkles than you would like? Many facial wrinkles can be avoided by eating real food, food providing optimal nutrition. If you are waking up to puffy eyes, face, hands, toes, or anything in between… over time wrinkles appear. One night of eating sweets can puff me up – what’s worse is when the puffiness subsides… wrinkles appear. This yo-yo of inflammation and deflation stretches our skin.

Sure there are other reasons for wrinkles (sun, drugs, alcohol, smoking, etc), but diet is huge. Losing weight does not have to be a mystery. Simply eat healthy most days of the week and hours of the day. What is eating healthy consist of? Mostly food without labels, local food, foods that are in season. Top that with ample amounts of water and “diet” can be a thing of the past. Water can be anywhere from drinking half your weight in ounces to drinking one ounce per pound of body weight.

Anybody can lose weight on fewer calories, why pay someone to tell you that?

Flat Abs by The Glass?

A family member of mine has finally begun drinking water… because her “smart” doctor (COUGH!) said so! She has eliminated kidney stones and is less hungry because of it. A client of mine, lost 40 pounds by drinking 1 1/2 gallons of water a day.

Drinking water has never been so easy – pick your size, flavor, additives (oxygen, electrolytes, etc.), or even a message of love or gratitude on your bottle. Most stores carry much more than your average bottle of drinking water, and charge you much more, but…

The longer you put off drinking enough or continue to make excuses, the sooner you deprive yourself of life. Stop worrying about your trips to El Baño, or the fact that you don’t like the taste of water – FLAVOR IT WITH SOMETHING! You are eliminating toxins, flushing fat, and ridding your body of excess waste AND a possible protruding waist.

Next time you feel a headache coming on, try drinking plenty of water before popping a pill.
