Master Cleanse PLUS – Day 7

a little bit of heaven…

I remember fasting once and being asked if I was a Hari (or Hare) Krishna… apparently, I appeared to be very enlightened and exuding love. I took that as a compliment. Today it was easy to see the world (everything and everybody) through love colored glasses.

Cleansing and fasting does absolute wonders for your body, mind, AND spirit… it can take away the need for therapy or antidepressants (that, and forgiveness of course). In Chinese medicine, the liver is associated with anger, and the kidneys fear… ahhh. When I meet really uptight people, I can’t help but wonder if perhaps they are in dire need of a major poop. The power of pooping (regularly) should not be taken lightly. It can heal you from many ailments, illness, and disease. Head to toe… it doesn’t matter.

Benefits aside… did the whole routine today… oil pulling, enema, Formula #2 twice, Neti pot, and drank just shy of 1 gallon of the Masterful drink. No exercise, but did detox my closet… feels great to get rid of stuff!

Tidbit: detoxing/fasting/cleansing can release some horribly smelling waste that even some “air fresheners” have a hard time masking. Not-a-problem. A fast and effective way to eliminate odors is to simply light a match (and extinguish it quickly). Or you can make your own natural spray by mixing a few  oils. My favorite is to mix lemon and eucalyptus. For more ideas, read the ingredients of your favorite air fresheners.

Eliminating odors should not cause more air pollution or be hazardous to your health.

Master Cleanse for the 21st Century

Today is day 2 of my 3 day countdown to my Master Cleanse (see “Detox 2 Live category – Diet, Detox, Fasting or Cleansing). I refer to it as a cleanse for the 21st Century, not because I’m doing it in this century, but because I  don’t do the Master Cleanse by itself. When I try a cleanse for the first time, I do as written. After that, I may or may not tailor it, or spruce it up a bit. This cleanse was created and/or written in 1976… long before the majority of food was fast and processed, before fast food places and microwaves were a daily staple for many, and long before colored pills became part of a daily routine. I remember 1976 – the food was still somewhat real and growing our own garden did not pose a threat.

The original Master Cleanse works well, but… it can be better. If you are going to take 10 days of your life to give your body a much needed break, why not give it your all? I will be blogging about my 10 days… the good, the bad, and the ugly. Those of you ready to age less, feel free to join!

‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’ Takes On A Whole New Meaning

Can a sore bottom be expected? You bet! A sore, burning, itching, irritated bottom is nothing to cause you alarm or harm. This is all part of the healing crisis, so be happy! Remember, the toxins are leaving your body, so discomfort can be expected. Years of old waste has had plenty of time to accumulate and ferment. Expect bad breath, body odor, extra smelly bowel movements, runny nose, plugged ears, blurred vision, and more.

Patience is needed in natural health and beauty, but you can expect the  benefits to be longer lasting and deeper. How many health treatments are beauty treatments? And how many beauty treatments are health treatments? NONE, unless it involves natural healing!

Feeling Stressed? Try Crying

I once read an article that stated the reason women live longer than men is because we cry more. Could this be true? Do men need to cry more, and more often?  Crying was also brought up at one of sad facethe sweat lodges I attended. The man in charge of the rocks gave his pre-sweat talk to the group stating, we detox by way of sweat, bowel movements, vomiting, and crying. I love it – no wonder crying can feel so good sometimes. So… I do believe there is some truth to this – however, crying alone would take f-o-r-e-v-e-r  to detox.

There are many ways to detox, these just happen to be some. Detoxing, when done properly and long enough, can be your fountain of youth and the only prescription you’ll ever need. Mix in a little passion and purpose… and there’s no telling how far you can go!
